Meet Mary Jo Kennedy, a member of the Tulum Rotary club since August 2020!
Mary Jo Kennedy is a family practice physician, who worked at community health centers and public hospitals in Brooklyn, NY, until her retirement in 2016. Her family has been visiting the Riviera Maya for the past 35 years. They fell in love with Tulum a few years ago, and feel very fortunate to live here now.
Mary Jo was encouraged to learn about The Rotary Club of Tulum after fellow Rotarian Joni Keyser told her about the work of the organization. Mary Jo stated "I realized that Rotary’s areas of focus overlapped with my own interests: mothers and children, education, and health care. I am pleased to join Rotary, and look forward to working with the dedicated Tulum team."
