Tulum suffers from extreme overbuilding and overconsumption. There is not a viable, sustainable program to handle all of the recyclables, so a rudimentary patchwork system exists. In December 2020, we helped promote and support the Centro Integral de Reciclaje de Tulum and supporting the Puntos Limpios network throughout the city who have done an excelent job in supporting the community recycling needs. At the Rotary Club of Tulum, we're committed to promoting this effort with the goal of encouraging others to join us as well. We hope to see you there soon!
